KIVOLEX Volunteers provided us an unparalleled opportunity to Volunteer and explore Tanzania from its natural wanders to rich historical sites. The tremendous beauty of the natural setting combined with the knowledge and expertise of the KIVOLEX team made for an unforgettable adventure! The accommodation was simple but very nice – including delicious meals and extraordinary opportunities to swim along the Tanzanian Ocean. We will never forget this trip with KIVOLEX Volunteers…and are already planning for another one!

A superb Month exploring Tanzania. This was my first visit to Asia, and it was wonderful. We had a Volunteer coordinator and Volunteer manager to take us round & show us the volunteer placement. The accommodation was excellent, full of character, quiet & secluded. The whole program was a great mix of Volunteering with some – awe-inspiring Imperial sites, and some more recent buildings, all presented in context with details of their long stories, some truly superb museums, and some more day-to-day places. There was free time for us to see some essential sites independently, and there was guidance on how to use the free time we had. All in all a great Month. KIVOLEX Volunteers is a provider who takes small groups on Volunteer trips to Tanzania, but also look to ensure that you enjoy a place as much as possible.

We have enjoyed four previous Volunteering Trips to Africa and we had been searching for a high quality, small group organization to organize our Trip to Tanzania. Thus, when KIVOLEX offered the Volunteer in Tanzania Opportunity, we booked without hesitation. Tanzania has a lot of interesting activities to do apart from Volunteering and we wanted to experience all. The food was always excellent and abundant. The accommodations were all very fine. One could not possibly ask for more friendly and wonderful Team in KIVOLEX. Our group was a “success” from the start – we met wonderful people, made new friends, and had fun exploring Tanzania with them.

Tanzania is truly the land of Unforgettable adventures. Everything from day one was well organized and wonderful. As a medical student from western world, looking to do my Internship in Africa, I didn’t know what to expect. However, I was made to feel at home and comfortable by the KIVOLEX team as soon as we were picked up from Dar Es Salaam International Airport. Everyone was so friendly and did their best to help us out with every detail. The hospital were we did our internship was superb, form the doctor in charge to all other hospital staff we always met smiles and helping hands. The hospital gave us an opportunity to learn a lot and it has actually shaped me to be a better doctor in the future. I would definitely recommend this Organization and Trip to anyone wishing to do a medical internship abroad. The only trouble is “I want to go back for more”! A wonderful trip.

My experience, a 4 week-long Volunteer trip to Tanzania, was superb. Apart from awesome Volunteer Program, we saw not only the usual tourist sites, but several that were certainly off the beaten track. The visits to the Mukumi National Park and the National Museum, as well as several smaller ones, were fascinating. Museums can be overwhelming, but our guides pointed out the most significant items and explained their context and meaning. The organization of the Volunteer Trip and the accommodations were excellent and the meals, superb. Our 2 guides, both KIVOLEX Staff, were enormously knowledgeable, did a wonderful job of sharing their knowledge, and were charming companions, as well.

Excellent. Our best Volunteer Organization ever. The Program was carefully thought through and well balanced. The trip represented great travel for volunteering in coastal city. Our booking was easy; the pre-information packet was timely and thorough. Interim questions were handled promptly and thoroughly, including going out of their way to help us with some hard to get reservations. The transfers were perfect and done smoothly. Everything worked like clockwork. However, it was the genius of the Program design, coupled with our two passionate professionals, Godfrey and Innocent, that put this trip into the A plus category.

The Volunteer program was all I ever wanted, the school was ideal; I felt the real sense of helping. I wanted to leave a foot mark on my volunteer trip and this time I did it. Accommodation was comfortable and food excellent. The Staff were outstanding – passionate, informative, engaging and entertaining. The itinerary was very well thought out, combining leisure time with Volunteering.  A Volunteer is obviously at the heart of the itinerary planning, and attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting do Volunteering, have fun, relax, educational holiday – they will deliver!

KIVOLEX and the whole team run a highly professional organization. From the brochure to drop off at the airport to fly home their attention to detail and their consideration for their clients is superb. KIVOLEX Staff are erudite but highly personable and have an ability to make any volunteer stay memorable. The hospital we volunteered was so nice, we learned a lot and helped a lot of people at the Hospital. We made friendship with not only the Staff but also the patients. The Hospital offers an ideal environment for a western volunteer to experience. Excellent.

Our Volunteer Trip to Tanzania was everything and more than expected. It lived up to KIVOLEX emphasis on learning, development, helping, culture, history, archaeology, comfort and camaraderie. Exceptional KIVOLEX Team attended to each Volunteer interests and needs and was exceptional hosts. Very enjoyable were swimming in Oster bays, the wonderful food quality in the Volunteer house and selection and the sites visited on the Island and mainland. It was all one could hope for and a strong inducement to do another Volunteer adventure very soon.

We had the most remarkable family Volunteer Trip with KIVOLEX Volunteers. Not only everything was perfect, but we felt, in every instance, that our guides and the whole KIVOLEX Team truly cared about us, both the kids and adults, and did their best to make this trip memorable. For our well-traveled children (aged 9 and 6) this definitely has become the most eye-opening, adventurous, and stunning journey of their life – something they will remember, draw upon, and cherish for many years to come. For adults, we were pleasantly surprised by the diversity of our trip: from Volunteering at the Hospital and School to Safari, from swimming on the shores of the Tanzanian Ocean to doing a Stone town tour, from Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro to Fishing on Mafia Island, every island and every new activity offered new experiences. We definitely will be back!

Program was immaculate. All of the KIVOLEX staff were professionals and very nice. Staff at the School where we taught were very organized and always there for us if we had any questions. We always felt safe, well taken care of with a very friendly attitude from the team while they showed us a great time, both fun and educational. Second time Volunteering with KIVOLEX Volunteers and we will definitely do it again. Excellent.

The people at KIVOLEX are kind and helpful. My friends and I had a good time with KIVOLEX. It was my very first trip to Asia, and I would definitely want to go back. It was my dream to one day work in Asia and in exact environment KIVOLEX took me. As a nurse student I had not only a learning experience but also a working one, although supervised but at times they would let me practice as a nurse and get that feeling of being registered and licensed nurse. The hospital is a very good place to learn and grow as a junior nurse from abroad. If you are looking to learning and get experience in a different environment outside your comfort zone. This Medical Volunteer program in Tanzania introduced me to almost everything I wished to experience.
